Captain here: Oscar Santillian an artist from Ecuador put this in his exhibit, claiming it was the top inch of Scafell Pike. Some dude in the tourist department claimed it was vandalism and wanted the inch back. Santillian released a statement saying that no chiselling or vandalism took place, it was simply a piece of rock he found at the peak. No charges were filed. Flys away.
